I’m Nick, a native British English speaker from the UK with a professional background in the Royal Air Force and later the NHS. Those roles required calm communication, clarity, and strong people skills — qualities I now bring into my teaching. I’ve worked with people from many cultures and understand that learning English is about more than grammar; it’s about confidence and expressing yourself naturally. I enjoy music, travel, sport/football, and meaningful conversation, so our lessons will always feel real and engaging. As a teacher, I focus on practical English you can use immediately. I work mainly with adults who want to improve conversational fluency and sound more natural. I help students speak more smoothly, reduce hesitation, and gain confidence. I listen carefully and correct in a supportive way that builds ability without pressure. My goal is steady progress through clear feedback, consistency, and relaxed but purposeful lessons. My lessons are mainly conversational and fluency-based. You will speak a lot while I guide you with natural corrections and pronunciation support. We focus on everyday English, useful expressions, and sounding more natural in real situations. I pay close attention to accent clarity, stress, rhythm, and intonation, because these make a big difference in how you are understood. Lessons are relaxed, practical, and designed to help you speak confidently in daily life.
