I had a great first Setswana lesson with Phemo, and I am excited to continue studying with her. There was a clear structure in her lesson, and she gave me "just enough" new information without overwhelm - just enough that I know I need to study before our next class, but not so much that it feels daunting. I feel like I am going to make a lot of progress under her guidance!

Our first lesson was very productive and I left feeling much more confident in my ability to introduce myself in Setswana.

I really enjoyed every single lesson with Phemo. She was always very encouraging and motivated me to keep learning a little every day between our sessions. She came prepared with materials from her own learning resources and always asked about my specific goals to adjust the lessons accordingly and even prepared extra materials. The lessons were a great mix of some vocabulary and grammar, but mostly focused on speaking and pronunciation. Ke a leboga thata mma!

My first lesson with Phemo was great. After introducing ourselves, we discussed my goals and went straight into it. She is patient, diligent, well-organised, and her teaching style is pleasant.
