Certified TEFL teacher Hello! My name is Hannah I grew up in sunny Los Angeles, California where I also received my Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration. I lived and taught English in South Korea for about 5 years. I moved to Japan to continue my own education in illustration! Now I live and work in Japan. I have experience trying to learn languages too. I studied Spanish in high school and a bit in college, Japanese, and some Korean. So I know how difficult it is to learn a new language! With my experience I can talk freely about a range of topics and can find new ways to engage in conversation~ I have taught many different kinds of people! College students, businessmen, medical professionals, you name it! In addition to adults I have also taught children. I worked at a private elementary school in Seoul and taught grades 1, 3, and 5 so I am familiar with a range of ages. I have also received a 120 hour TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) certificate! I specialize in conversational and practical English. I want to encourage you to feel confident in your speaking and to not to worry about making mistakes! English is a language spoken by many different people from around the world so it is always changing. I look forward to meeting you!

Hannah is an excellent teacher. I've been working with her for two months, with 4 or 5 lessons per week. It is really worth it for every lesson. I write down whatever I want to say or what I think about any random topic before the class on our Google docs, and she corrects and explains any mistakes I made,and we do conversation practice which I need a lot of. I am learning a lot every class, so I can't stop taking her class. I would recommend her!!!
