During my studies of English, French, and German, I discovered my passion for teaching. I enjoy helping others grow and connect. Curious about the world, fascinated by people, and always eager to learn—let’s explore German together! My teaching style is very open minded and flexible. During the intro I find out what the students require and how committed they are to their goals. I adapt my style to theirs: with some students I will be more laid back and with the more ambitious and focused ones (my favorites) I will more actively plan ahead. i am known to be "living with my students" and rejoice at their success in reaching their goals. I love to research my students' hobbies and interests to create lesson plans around these. It goes without saying that people love to talk about their hobbies and including them even in classes about grammar helps. The goal is to get the student to participate and I use open questions to get answers. One feedback I get regularly is that I make the students feel at ease, never rush them and let them express themselves freely. I make a point not to over correct my students. Out of 5 mistakes in their sentence I will correct one or two of the more serious ones and I praise them parsimoniously but genuinely.
