My name is Gemma and I am a qualified English teacher for kids & teens aged 10-17! I am from England in the United Kingdom and I have lived in many places in the UK including London (the capital city of England), Glasgow (in Scotland) and now in South Wales. I speak in a standard southern English accent.
I am degree educated (from the University of east London) and have taught more than 2,000 lessons to children from all over the world. I also have an extensive background in the finance & banking sectors.
In my spare time I love to read books and watch documentaries about interesting topics. I also love to paint and draw!Me as a Teacher
I have lots of experience teaching English to children online and really love to help them improve their skills and confidence. I have taught students from many countries including Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, Turkey, Ukraine, France, South Korea and Brazil.
I have a patient approach to my students and always ensure they are comfortable in my classes. I aim to encourage them and push to improve their skills gradually over our time together.

Please note: All of my lessons are for kids aged between 10-17 only, and for English level A2 and above.
My teaching style is always kind and patient. I want my classroom to be a positive and understanding place, so I do not pressure students or make them feel bad about forgetting things. We practice and make mistakes together - that is how we learn the best!
During class, it is helpful if your child can use earphones or headphones. This is to ensure there are no sound problems through the device speakers which can often happen :)
All of my lessons are for one child only. If you would like classes for more than one child, please book separate slots for them.My teaching material
