Hej! I'm Marta, a native Swedish speaker born and raised in Stockholm. I am also fluent in English which is a language I have studied since young age up until University level.
With a background in Sociology and a passion for language learning (currently studying Spanish), I specialize in helping A2+ learners develop fluency through natural, engaging discussions. My approach prioritizes confidence-building in a supportive environment where mistakes are part of the process! On my free time, I enjoy spending time out in nature, traveling, cooking and dancing! As a teacher I am very patient, easy going and pedagogical. I like to think of my lessons as a relaxed, safe space to express yourself at the level that you are on. I believe the biggest factor to learning a language is having the courage to make mistakes! Actually, I am convinced there are no mistakes when it comes to learning, only lessons! My lessons & teaching style
It is beneficial if you have some basic language knowledge since my lessons are conversational-based. From there we can pick topics and subjects based on your interest.
My focus is less on grammar and more on the conversation aspect of language in a relaxed setting. I aim for an informal meeting where there is no pressure, only lots of learning. I also see our lessons as a great opportunity to have a chat and learn about each other. Looking forward to talking more!
- A2 level and up since we will focus on conversation.
- Lessons will be held in Teams or italki classroom.

Unfortunately, my experience was not very positive. Marta arrived 7 minutes late to the lesson and was only able to give me 1 minute back, as she said she had another student waiting. In addition, her internet connection was unstable, which disrupted the flow of the session.
