Hi Everyone,
My name is Katja and I have been teaching languages German for over 4 years now, both groups and individuals. I also gained experience at Berlitz, an international language school focusing on communicative lessons. I am passionate about language teaching and learning, I enjoy getting to know new people, cultures and perspectives and I currently study Social Integration, so any topics related to the society are always welcome:) One of my main hobbies are board games, but I also adore spending time in the nature with my dog or finding time to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot tea.Me as a Teacher
I pay lots of attention to my students and encourage them to talk as much as possible. I manage to create an atmosphere where you can feel free to make mistakes which we are going to adress gently and in a way where you can learn from them, noticing and correcting mistake patterns.My lessons & teaching style
My classes are very communicative, with me asking you lots of questions and discussing videos and articles we look at/read together. I also try to use as much of German as possible, often decribing the unknown words in a simple and understandable way - but of course, if you need help, you can always ask me in English, Hungarian or Russian. :)My teaching material
