Hello,
my name is Lisa and I am from Germany. I am living in Eastern Germany. Therefore speak High German.
German is my native language because I was born in Germany and have lived there all my life.
I have taught German for about a year. In other words, I have experience in online teaching. With me, you will be able to use German fluently and in everyday life.
In my free time, I love to travel and explore new places. I enjoy attending events like concerts, where I can experience live music and meet new people. I listen to both German / English music. I like rap, pop and rock.
Another activity I really enjoy is jogging; it's a great way for me to stay fit and clear my mind.
Me as a Teacher
Please read!
I would like to point out that my classes are specifically designed for adults. Currently, I am not accepting children or teenagers as students, as I have more experience teaching adults.
I have a strong educational background because I studied German for teaching at university.
I have experience teaching German on other learning platforms. I have taught students from many different countries. I have also helped students prepare for and pass the oral telc exams (telc-A2 , B1 and B2).
I will adapt my lessons to your needs. If you want to receive homeworks, I will send tasks to you after class. After each class, I prepare PDF files with the words and phrases that we have learned
My lessons & teaching style
I like to create a calm and friendly atmosphere in my lessons. My conversation classes are designed to allow us to talk about everyday topics, but it's also advisable to set a specific topic for each week or session and then focus on discussing it. Some example topics might include travel, current events, hobbies, or cultural differences. The topics should be suitable for the students' level to ensure meaningful and engaging discussions.
In my grammar-based courses, grammatical rules and phenomena are explained and then practiced. As the level increases, the speaking component becomes more prominent, allowing students to apply the grammar they've learned in conversation.
