Hi. I was born and raised in Slovakia to Slovak parents. As adult, I decided to travel the world and I lived in five different countries. Ireland, Colombia, Mexico, USA and currently The Netherlands. I love cycling, hiking in the nature and swimming in the ocean. I also have love for history and inspiring people.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I am very calm and patient. I prefer to speak slowly so my students can understand. I am very encouraging and I like my students to feel confident to make a mistake, understanding that we are all learning through mistakes and errors are a natural part of learning process.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is very flexible. I prefer to check in advance what are the studying priorities of my students and adjust my teaching style to my student wishes. If a student is an absolute beginner, we will obviously start from the absolute beginning. In case of an advance students, we analyse together an article from Slovak news or choose an interesting topic to talk about.My teaching material

I had my first Slovak lesson with Robert today. He is very patient, kind, well-spoken and professional.
After the lesson, he provided me with text including the correct way to say some of the things I struggled to say, or said in a less than ideal way during the lesson. This text is very helpful, as the topics we discussed are sure to come up in future conversations, and now I have a blueprint for how to say them better in the future. Thank you Robert 👍👌

My lesson with Robert was amazing. Our 60 minutes together flew by as he is a very approachable guy with an interesting life story and spoke at a level that I could easily understand. He even wrote down all the mistakes I made and sent me a PDF with a summary of his notes. I will definitely come back for more!
