I firmly believe that learning is a life-long project. Currently I'm studying to be a doctor, but I had previously studied law for two years before changing fields. My passion for learning also reflects on acquiring new language skills: I know English, Finnish and Portuguese to a proficiency level, and I speak French to an intermediate level as well.

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I am enthusiastic and eager to share my knowledge with my students. I enjoy delving into the rich vocabulary and the subtleties of meaning of the English language, so that my students can expand their vocabulary in a way that feels natural and rewarding. I have passed the CPE-exam (Cambridge Proficiency of English) with an A-grade, hence I am well acquired with the exam's structure. This means that I know from my personal experience how challenging mastering a new language can be, however it is totally feasible a project.

My lessons & teaching style

I always aim at tailoring my lessons for the needs of each student, so that they can confidently develop both their receptive and productive skills. This means that, during the lessons, we are going to practice speaking through role play -exercises, train grammar and read together texts from diverse formats and genres.
