I am Keih γ±γ€ μΌμ΄, a new teacher on italki.
I am originally from Gyeonggi province (surrounding areas of Seoul) and have lived in Seoul most of my life. I have a background in Korean language and literature (BA from Ewha & Certified Teacher) and I had lived in London for 2 years doing my master's.
I have been working as a full-time Korean teacher over 8 years. Working at one of the largest Korean language schools in Seoul, I had plenty of opportunities of developing and teaching speaking courses for big organizations like Samsung, LG, and top K-pop entertainment companies. I have also been teaching private students online and genuinely enjoy interacting with my students.

We had our trial lesson today and it went quite well. We talked about what I had learned in the past and what kind of lessons we would want to have while also practicing some Korean. Keih μ μλ seems very organized and knowledgeable, and she made sure we both had an understanding of what type of classes I would do well with.

I enjoy my lessons with Keih everytime. She is alsways Patient and never lets me feel stupid. She teaches me new words everytime and uses them in many sentences to I can understand it better. At the Start of each lesson we talk freely sometime about different topics which helps me improve a lot. Thank you μ€.
Even if Keih is new on iTalki, I think she has extensive teaching experience. The lesson passed quickly with comfortable environment and a lot of opportunity to think and practise making korean sentences and speaking in various situation.
Keih also asked me to make a vocabulary book to make sure would not forget my new vocab. She told me as well to ask if I don't know any word as a new vocab so she would explain.
At the end of the lesson, she wrapped up the content I have just learnt and sent pdf (or doc :) note for easy review and making my own summary. She also assigned homework to practise after class too.
Besides, on the trial lesson, Keih gathered information about
my background, objective and expectation. Keih also gave an idea about books that would be required in class and how our class would progress.
To me, Keih is well-prepared, well-organized and determined to
teach. Thank you for such a wonderful class, Keih μ μλ. :)
