케이 Keih

케이 선생님 is such a fantastic teacher. She provides interesting prompts and shapes lessons based on what I want to work on (grammar, conversation practice, etc) as well as my own areas of interest (travel to Korea, BTS, etc). Her teaching style is patient and methodical, but still organic, with a perfect balance of natural conversation and incorporation of important language points. It's evident that she is knowledgeable about the ways people actually effectively learn languages. From my classes with 케이 선생님 I've seen so much progress in my ability to actually interact, and because of this I think I've formed a more intuitive grasp of the language. On a recent trip to Korea I was surprised by how easily the language came to me in simple interactions but also when I had to actually solve problems. I honestly attribute that to my classes with 케이 선생님, her skill as a teacher, and the comfortable, fun environment she creates in our classes. Thanks so much for everything 선생님!

지금까지 케이 선생님과 함께 수업을 받은 것에 정말 만족하고 있습니다. 가장 인상적인 것 중 하나는 케이 선생님께서 내준 숙제였어요. 새로운 배운 문법 복습하기위 해서 케이 선생님이 직접 만든 문장, 쓰기, 말하기, 워크붘 같은 숙제가 있어요. 그 숙제를 하면서 점점 문장 만드는 법을 배우는 것 같아요. 케이 선생님은 쓰는 것 만큼 말하는 것도 중요하다고 하니까 제가 말하기 실력을 늘리고 싶습니다. 좀 더 유창하고 자연스럽게 생각하고 말할 수 있는 방법을 선생님의 제안을 얻고 싶습니다. 앞으로 더 자연스럽게 말하기 연습할 수있도록 말하기 연습을 더 많이 할 거예요. 감사합니다, 케이 선생님.

케이 선생님 is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had on italki! She is always prepared and thinks of interesting topics and questions so our lesson time seems to just fly by. She also writes down what I say and corrects me without disrupting the flow of the conversation so not only are the lessons fun, but I also have an archive of correct, useful sentences that I can look back and learn from at any time. I feel like my Korean has already improved a lot and I’m excited to keep taking more lessons. 감사합니다, 케이 선생님!!

I’ve been learning with 케이 씨 for three months now, and she has tailored the classes to suit my needs really well! We follow a structured curriculum from a book to help me learn new vocabulary that I don’t usually encounter. However, there’s still time to chat about my daily activities, and she makes sure that I practice speaking as much as possible during the class, which is the area I want to focus on. 케이 씨 is also very creative with homework, making it fun to practice. I’m already seeing lots of progress. Looking forward to our next class!

My Korean has improved a lot since I started to take class with 케이 씨. 케이 씨 listens to my needs in the trial class and provides a class structure that well matches my studying style. Before class, she prepares interesting topics and thoughtful prompts, so that we can speak as much as possible about the topic in class. 케이 씨 always creates a safe and comfortable environment for me to speak in class. 케이 씨~~~ 그동안 재미있게 많이 배워서 너무 감사합니다~~~

I've taken lessons with Keih for a year now. We've made great progress. Her classes are structured and detailed, but still a lot of fun. She always takes the time to answer my questions.
