케이 선생님 is such a fantastic teacher. She provides interesting prompts and shapes lessons based on what I want to work on (grammar, conversation practice, etc) as well as my own areas of interest (travel to Korea, BTS, etc). Her teaching style is patient and methodical, but still organic, with a perfect balance of natural conversation and incorporation of important language points. It's evident that she is knowledgeable about the ways people actually effectively learn languages. From my classes with 케이 선생님 I've seen so much progress in my ability to actually interact, and because of this I think I've formed a more intuitive grasp of the language. On a recent trip to Korea I was surprised by how easily the language came to me in simple interactions but also when I had to actually solve problems. I honestly attribute that to my classes with 케이 선생님, her skill as a teacher, and the comfortable, fun environment she creates in our classes. Thanks so much for everything 선생님!

I continue to be satisfied with the lessons I've taken with Keih. Keih provides interesting discussion topics and assignments--as well as encouragement--to help me continue developing my Korean language skills. I think anyone looking for a tutor should consider taking a lesson with her. Keih works really hard to provide a thoughtful lesson each time, so sometimes I worry that I am lacking because I don't prepare well for each lesson when I am busy at work. But I have never felt bad during or after taking our lesson. Keih is great at meeting students at their level and improving their skills. In fact, I always feel more motivated to learn Korean after taking a lesson with Keih! I am looking forward to taking more. 케이 선생님, 한국어를 가르쳐 주셔서 감사합니다!

케이 선생님과 한국어 수업을 때 항상 재미있어요. 캐이 is able to provide a non-stressful and engaging learning environment. Though we cover a lot of new material each class, I never feel overwhelmed because 선생님 teaches the content in a way that feels very natural. She goes beyond the textbook, creating exercises and opportunities that challenge me to use my knowledge, and providing detailed records and notes of what we have covered throughout our lesson together. And if I ever have questions (usually about if this grammar point is similar to another previously learned grammar point, or if these two words are similar), 캐이 is quite agile in providing well explained answers. I'm happy with the steady progress I continue to make under 선생님's guidance, and look forward continuing to learn with her in 2024! 감사합니다!

오늘 지난 레슨에 공부하던 주제를 재미있게 복습했어요. 선생님은 제 발음도 많이 신경을 쓰고 고치셔서 감사합니다! 이번 주제를 먼저 준비했는데 대본을 안 보고 자연스럽게 얘기해서 재미있어요. 그리고 얘기하면서 다양한 표현을 알게 됐어요.

As usual, 케이 is very supportive and patient during our class. In my homework I tend to stumble with conjugating irregular verbs. However, every single time, 선생님 corrects me and gently guides me through the process of accurately conjugating them. In today's class, we finished the last chapter of the textbook. We covered a lot of content these last few months, including new vocabulary, grammar, listening exercises, writing prompts, and reading material. We went at a pace that suited my learning style and needs. After each class, I have been able to see the progress I have made. Evidence can be found not only in the traditional textbook and workbook materials, but also through the additional exercises and homework that 케이 assigns. I really enjoy classes with Keih 선생님. I'm learning new grammar every week at a good pace and the homework allows me to practice both the new grammar and some things that I need to review. I feel like I am happy with the progress I have made over the past eight months.
