I have a degree in linguistics and cognitive science from the Hebrew University. I'm a professional dancer and a contemporary dance teacher. I speak English at a native-like level, and I speak Italian at an advanced level (C1). I also studied Latin, and I'm currently learning Spanish. Mi chiamo Tomer, vivo a Gerusalemme in cui sono nato e cresciuto. Ho una laurea in linguistica e scienze cognitive preso l'Universita Ebraica. Sono un danzatore professionista e un insegnante di danza. Parlo inglese a livello da madrelingua, e parlo italiano in un livello avanzato (C1). Ho studiato latino e sto imparando lo spagnolo. My studies in linguistics and my experience in teaching dance in Israel and abroad (in Hebrew, English and Italian), have given me a strong grasp of the structure and grammar of various languages on one hand, but also an understanding that a practical hands-on approach is usually the best for learning a new language. My lessons are always adapted to the student's needs, interests and level, but are focused on a communicative approach. My lessons are based on communication and conversation, as I believe it to be the most important language skill. In addition, I always try to adapt my lessons to the interest, needs and level of each student.
