Hi! My name is Louise, and I’m a native Swedish speaker. I was born and raised in Stockholm, where I still live. I absolutely love languages and enjoy sharing that passion with others. I’m also really into traveling and learning about new cultures—it’s such a great way to connect with people and see the world from different perspectives.Me as a Teacher
Although it might sound cliché, I really do believe that with the right mindset, anything is possible. That’s why I always aim to make learning feel relaxed, positive, and fun. I’m super patient and genuinely enjoy helping others. Over the years, I’ve tutored in a bunch of different subjects, and it’s such a great feeling to see someone improve and grow more confident. My goal here is to help you feel the same way while learning Swedish, at your own pace and in a way that works for you. My lessons & teaching style
Primarily, I’ll make sure to get a good understanding of your goals and where you’re starting from. From there, we’ll tailor our sessions to suit your needs—whether that’s focusing on conversational Swedish, improving grammar, or just building confidence. I like to keep things flexible, so we’ll work together in a way that feels natural and helps you reach your goals5.0

Louise is a really great conversationalist who asks questions that are thoughtful and fun, but also challenging. She's really encouraging and has a great sense of humour. I'd recommend her to anyone wanting to practice speaking in Swedish!

Tack så mycket Louise! I enjoyed very much our class, it was so nice to finally be able to practice swedish with a native! Louise is very good at letting you speak, while helping you with vocab, correcting when really needed (for understanding sake) and asking the right questions. Can't wait for our next class!

Louise is easy to talk to and has a great sense of humour; gaps in conversation caused by missing vocabulary never feel awkward or stressful. She can discuss a wide array of topics and her intuition about which errors to correct and which to ignore is spot on. You can ask for vocabulary in the language that first comes to mind because she speaks them all.
