My name is Oubo-Gaou Abdou-Rassidou, a linguist with a passion for language education and cultural preservation. Although Ewe is not my native language, I achieved native-level proficiency by growing up in a community where it was spoken. I hold a master’s degree in linguistics from Khazar University, along with a diploma in Arabic from Qatar University, and have taught English and French. My goal in teaching Ewe is to preserve its cultural significance while providing learners with the linguistic tools to maintain their heritage and engage with the broader worldMe as a Teacher
As an Ewe language teacher with native-level proficiency, I bring both linguistic expertise and cultural insight to the classroom. Although I didn’t formally study Ewe, I grew up in a community where it was spoken daily, allowing me to acquire the language naturally. I also hold a master's degree in linguistics from Khazar University and a diploma in Arabic from Qatar University. My teaching approach focuses on preserving the rich cultural heritage of Ewe while making the language accessible to learners of all levels. My Ewe lessons focus on speaking and listening, guiding students from zero knowledge to complete fluency. Through a highly interactive and conversational approach, I help learners build confidence in expressing themselves naturally in Ewe. Each lesson is designed to engage students in real-life dialogues and practical conversations, gradually improving their speaking and listening skills. By creating a fun and immersive learning environment, I ensure that students have plenty of opportunities to practice both speaking and listening, helping them become fluent and confident Ewe speakers from the ground up.Education

Rashid is clearly very gifted in demystifying the Ewe language. I haven't ever met someone who knows how to equip someone with the basics in simply one hour! I am heritage learner and none of my family has been able to accomplish what he did in the first session. I will be booking more with him and looking forward to a higher level of proficiency in speaking with relatives.

By only the second lesson, am I already speaking simple sentences that I can use with my family! I haven't been able to do that before. As long as one comes motivated and prepared (having revised the previous sessions notes completely), Mr. Abdul Rashid will help you learn Ewe extremely fast!!
