Hello everyone! I am Doga. I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Istanbul, I am from Turkey. I am bilingual: Turkish is my native language and I speak English at C1 level. I am a sociology graduate. I am currently working as an international volunteer and teaching English and Turkish to children. My hobbies are yoga, painting, and writing stories. Topics I enjoy chatting about: foreign language learning methods, yoga and sports, art, daily life, concentration, animals…Me as a Teacher
I am a teacher who likes to use fun and interactive materials. I prepare special materials for each of my students. I create a lesson plan considering the topics the student likes to talk about.My lessons & teaching style
I organize lessons that vary depending on the level of the student. I take care to use presentations and visuals in lessons. I pay attention to supporting the student on the path to language learning. First, I start by explaining what kind of language Turkish is, so we start with solid foundations. I have just finished my first conversation class with Doğa and it was great.
She explains well, speaks clearly and adapts the conversation to my conversational abilities, pointing out grammatical and cultural specificities here and there as we talk. I'm surely booking more classes.. Thanks Doğa.
