Hello! I’m Woobin, a Korean tutor from Seoul. 😊 I’m a native Korean speaker, and I can communicate in English and Japanese. I’m also studying French. • I have earned the JLPT N1 certificate, so I can explain in Japanese when needed. • I lived in New York and Washington, D.C. for about a year while joining a language training program and gaining internship experience! • Traveling around the U.S. made me even more interested in languages, communication, and cultural differences. 🌿 As a language learner myself, I understand both the excitement and challenges of learning a new language. • I have hands-on teaching experience, and it made me realize how much I enjoy teaching. 😊 • From Dec 2020 to Jan 2022, I worked as a home-visit teacher for children aged 4 to 13, teaching English, Korean, and play-based lessons. • Over two years, I taught 16 students and completed 334 hours of lessons and childcare support. • I also received a 100% parent recommendation rate. 💬 This experience taught me how to adjust my teaching style, pace, and explanations based on each student’s level and personality. ✨ It also showed me how rewarding teaching can be. In my lessons, I value a comfortable and supportive atmosphere where students can speak without pressure. 🙂 • We can work on free conversation, pronunciation, everyday expressions, travel Korean, and Korean culture. • I adjust each lesson based on the student’s goals and level.
