My name is Andrew and I am from the United States. During the day I work as a lawyer, but outside of work my interests include reading, playing guitar, painting, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with my family. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures, and I also love helping others in any way that I can.
Me as a Teacher
As your teacher, I hope to always be patient and encouraging. Whatever your current proficiency level may be, I will work with you to help you improve your speaking ability, your listening ability, your grammar, and your vocabulary. As you develop in all of these ways, you should expect to gain confidence in your ability and communicate with others in English.
My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is informal and conversational. Together we can explore any topics that are of interest to you, and we can use this as a way to help you practice your English. If needed, we can start by speaking slowly and using simple words, and then over time we can begin trying to speak more fluently as you develop your speaking and listening skills. When you make mistakes, don't worry! I know what it's like to be a language student and to make many mistakes, and I believe that making mistakes is the key to growth. Also, if there are any particular topics that you are looking for assistance with, I can try to provide you with additional resources that may be helpful for you.
