Hello, I'm Akif, residing in the charming city of Antalya, Turkey. I'm deeply passionate about languages, both learning and teaching. As a native Turkish speaker, I take joy in sharing my expertise. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, and delving into psychology and self-improvement literature. My passion for constant learning extends to acquiring new languages, which, in turn, enriches my ability to guide others on their unique language-learning quests. With 17 years of experience, I've taught English and Turkish to diverse age groups. Currently, I teach English in a high school and Turkish in a language school. I've been teaching online for 6 years, with a focus on online teaching during the pandemic. This experience has significantly enhanced my teaching skills. I'm passionate about languages and thrive on working with enthusiastic language learners.My lessons & teaching style
When starting online lessons with a new student, I begin by conducting a thorough placement test to assess their language proficiency. From there, I create a personalized lesson plan, considering their learning style, goals, and scheduling preferences. I also offer continuous support through social media applications to ensure their progress and address any questions or concerns. My approach aims to make language learning convenient, effective, and tailored to each student's needs. During the lessons, I use some of the best materials which are very effective in learning Turkish and share them with my students.My teaching material

Akif is a good teacher, he has a structured approach to the lessons and explains any unclear points; every time we go through grammar, vocabulary and exercises. I`m a complete beginner, and after a few lessons I`ve definitely made some progress and will carry on with them. Teşekkürler!

I really enjoy my lessons with Akif. They pass interestingly, intensely, I don’t even notice how time passes. Akif is a competent, attentive, patient teacher. It is interesting to talk with him on any topic; thanks to our lessons, my speaking and knowledge of the Turkish language is quickly improving.
