Hi there, my name is Silvia. I am originally Italian, but have lived several years abroad, mainly in Asia and around Europe, to finally land in Glastonbury, UK.
My partner is Dutch and together with our two kids we have a multilingual household.
I am passionate about travelling, meditation, home-schooling, art and crafts.
I speak five languages: Italian, English, Dutch, French, Spanish and I am currently learning German.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I like to think of myself as funny and upbeat. My lessons are relaxed, however I am taking my job very seriously and during our conversation we will be able to pick out useful grammar and vocabulary you are missing. I also like to give my students a little homework if the want.My lessons & teaching style
First and foremost it is important to assess what is your level of knowledge and what you want to achieve.
Then, using conversation and exercises, I like to concentrate on the building blocks of the language, I believe it is essential to learn basic grammar and vocabulary so that we can build a strong base. From that base, it gets easier and easier to add more vocabulary and useful expressions.My teaching material
