Mathilde

I look forward to every session I have with Mathilde to speak French and learn how to speak better. Mathilde is fantastic, she is very patient, even though my French is not good, and listens to me and gently corrects my mistakes. She speaks just slow enough for me to understand most of what she is saying, and just fast enough to help me improve my listening skills. Conversations with Mathilde are truly "sans stress".

Exactly what I needed! I studied French for many years when I was younger, but never developed the ability to comfortably hold a conversation. Now at 50 year old, I really want to try to actually learn to speak French with people, and Mathilde did an excellent job of putting me at ease and helping me to develop the confidence to actually try and converse with someone. I have already booked more lessons!

I often do not know in advance what I'm going to talk to Mathilde about, but for every session I easily fill the whole session simply talking about my week, world politics, how I'm studying French and what new things I've leaned, the weather, history, almost anything. Mathilde makes me feel very comfortable speaking French and gently correcting my French for I'm better each session.

Mathilde is an amazing instructor. She is passionate about languages. This comes across when she is teaching. She has high expectations and does not allow her students to take the easy way out. But she is also kind and friendly and punctual. Many friends and family have remarked that my French has improved remarkably! I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Mathilde is patient and her explanations are clear and concise. Our conversations are interesting, relevant and I always learn something new.

I've been using Mathilde for over a year now, and her help an coaching for speaking French has been outstanding. When I started with Mathilde I could not even speak a single sentence in French, today, with Mathilde's help (and a lot of work) I can speak for over 3 minutes in French about complex subjects.
