Italian tutor fluent in English offers conversation practice. Let's have a chat! Hi! I'm Flavio, and I help adult learners speak Italian more naturally and confidently through relaxed, real conversations. I have a background in Linguistics, Didactics of Modern Languages and Translation Studies, and I’ve been a professional translator for 5 years and an Italian Tutor for 2. I’ve taught more than 300 online lessons to students from different backgrounds and levels on multiple platforms. I was a language student myself so believe me when I say that I know what it feels like to learn a language. The experience helped me understand that the most effective way to truly learn a language is to use it, not just study it! Don't be afraid of making mistakes because failure teaches more than success. My lessons focus on talking, using everyday topics and examples that fit your life and connect to your interests. Each student learns in their own way and at their own pace, so I adapt my approach based on your feedback and personality. No student is the same, no one size fits all! After each lesson, you’ll also receive a personalised summary based on our actual conversation, including the vocabulary, expressions and structures that came up during the lesson, with natural examples and English translations. I also keep track of recurring difficulties, so words and structures you’ve struggled with before can come back naturally in future lessons and gradually become part of your active Italian.

Flavio is a fantastic Italian teacher. He speaks very clearly, making it much easier to understand and learn pronunciation. The lessons are engaging and interactive, and he writes a lot on the board, which really helps with memorization. He also has a great sense of humor, so learning feels easy, relaxed, and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
