My name is Dan, I was born and raised in Israel and I am a native speaker of Hebrew. I live in the Netherlands, where I also completed my master’s degree in linguistics. I just love languages! I learned English, and some Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch (to different levels), so I definitely understand the struggles of learning a new language. I like to travel, read books, workout and hang out with friends. I would love to guide you through your Hebrew learning journy!Me as a Teacher
I believe that learning a language is mostly speaking it, so I would want you to practice and speak as much as you can during the lesson. I am very patient and kind, and I want you to feel free to make mistakes- this is how you learn! I am open for your requests. If there are topics that are more relevant for you, just let me know and we will focus on them. Please DM me if you can't find available time slots, and I'll do my best to help. I believe that leaning a language should be a fun experience! You can learn Hebrew through conversations about Israel, Israeli culture, food, music and more, or talk about your culture, country and hobbies. The stage is yours, I am here to guide and support you in your language learning journey. I suggest that we start each lesson with a short casual conversation. Then, we can continue with speaking, reading or writing, according to your needs. I know learning a language can be frustrating, but I am here with you for the long-run. This was my first lesson with Dan and he spoke clearly with a clear mic which I feel is important. He was pretty diligent to write words down that I didn't know and was kind yet diligent in correcting my mistakes. He was a good listener. I look forward to many more lessons with him.
