Hi! I’m Kane, a licensed nurse and Tagalog tutor from the Philippines. I started teaching during the pandemic and fell in love with it. Being a nurse helps me connect better with students, especially those in the medical field. I enjoy helping people and love seeing my students grow in confidence. I give honest feedback, but I make sure it’s always encouraging and helpful. I take time to listen and guide my students so they feel comfortable using the language. Fantastic teacher for my 4-year old son. Spoke in full Tagalog in simple language and got him speaking. Exactly the immersive type of lesson I’ve been looking for. All other teachers we tried spoke far too much English. She has really fun interactive sessions tailored to my son’s interests. Perfect teacher for us!
