My name is Anne Marie. Welcome to my page !
I’m from Denmark, from a small town called Hjørring.
I speak Danish, English, Spanish, Kurdish and some Turkish. I understand most Norwegian, Swedish and some German, but I don’t really speak it. Maybe someday !
I’ve lived abroad for several years and am absolutely fascinated by languages and cultures.
I hope to share that with you !
Some of my interests are bicycling, dancing, music and practising languages with locals.Me as a Teacher
I am patient, curious and a bit nerdy. I love digging deep and discussing different topics.
I’ve taught English before while living in Spain, and currently I’m teaching Kurdish online.
I would love to get a chance to teach you my mother tongue!
I love learning languages myself, so I will understand your joy of learning, but also the moments of frustration. I´ve been there myself and will help you continue on your language learning journey.My lessons & teaching style
I will do my best to match my lessons to your needs. I like to focus on conversation and understanding, and not too much on grammar. I want it to be interesting for you, and for you to always have something new to chew on afterwards. My lessons will be given in a relaxed and warm environment.
Homework can be given if you so desire.

Anne Marie is an amazing teacher and she keeps the lessons very engaging and fun. Our conversations flow very naturally and I feel like I learn something new about different languages/cultures every time I have a lesson with her. I highly recommend her to anyone who would like to learn Danish in an informal and fun way.
