Mahlet is an awesome teacher! I've learned a lot and my conversational Amharic skills have greatly improved!

Very helpful at correcting and very patient and flexible. Being a slower learner, it feels good to know I have a teacher who's graciously shows patience. I love when joining class I don't have to feel shame or heavy pressure on my self but can come to a comfortable envoirment and learn while having some fun doing it.

She challenges and pushes me because she believes in my ability to be able to do more than I think I am capable of. More often than not, she is right and I then realize my own growth in Amharic. She has been adaptable to my needs and preferred learning methods. Mahlet has always allowed me to try or ask for something different whether it's conversation practice, videos, exercises, stories, or culture, etc. Lastly, she continuously keeps in mind the goals I set with her to make sure we are still progressing every class.
