About Me:
Hello! I'm Gavin, a 25-year-old English teacher from England, with a passion for making learning fun and engaging. With a TEFL certification and one year of teaching experience, I have successfully completed over 1,000 lessons, both on and off iTalki, and have had the pleasure of meeting and teaching 200 students from diverse backgrounds, and bringing out the best of their English - I hope to do the same for you!Me as a Teacher
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an advanced speaker - I try to encourage and bring the best out of all my students and target their weaknesses while praising them for their strengths. It is no small feat to learn a language, so I think effort should always be celebrated. I bring enthusiasm but also calmness into the classroom so students can have a relaxed, personal experience where they can truly see progress and the next steps in their language journey.My lessons & teaching style
Ranging from conversational classes, debates, reading articles and analysing poems, looking at song lyrics or movie scenes, lessons are always tailored to the learner's needs AND interests.
From our very first lesson you will dive into English and learn new skills and abilities to help you overcome any doubts and express yourself as comfortably and confidently as you can in your own native language.

Very kind and patient teacher. He listened carefully to every sentence I said and pointed out my grammar mistakes. He also gave me some exercises to improve my weak points in grammar. This correction really helped me a lot.
