I am Japanese, and I live in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
I am new to italki, but I have taught hundreds of lessons on other platforms!
I love traveling, eating, watching Ghibli movies, and enjoying dramas from Japan and abroad.

I have a lot of experience as an online tutor on Preply.
I also have 10years experience teaching Japanese KEIGO at company.
Because I have experience working in HR, I am a specialist in Japanese interviews.
I can provide advice not only on the Japanese language but also on preferred responses and appropriate attitudes.

*For the 60-minute course, there is a 5-minute break, so the session is 55 minutes long.

My lessons offer three courses:
◆For Advanced Learners (Business Japanese)
Leveraging my business career, you'll learn Japanese useful for work.
You can choose from:
･Interview practice
･Writing resumes and CVs
･Reading and pronunciation practice using news articles for N2-N1 level, and discussions
◆For Beginners and Intermediate Learners
Lessons using textbooks like "Irodori" and "Minna no Nihongo" to learn basic grammar. It's okay if you're almost new to Japanese. Lessons will be conducted in English or in simple Japanese.
◆Custom Course
Lessons can be customized around what you want to do.
For example:

Akiyo san asks me about my interview results and stay in touch when I ask her for help. Also, she always comes prepared for the lesson and adjust the lesson according to my current needs, my level of understanding, preparing, level of fatigue and so on. She is very flexible and supportive!

Akiyo sensei is very supportive! She knows how to prepare for the interview, how to explain business terms in Japanese and how to explain it in English;-) Also, Akiyo san is very fun and cracks jokes, so it brings relaxing atmosphere to our lessons!
With Akiyo san’s help I am sure I can pass my interview successfully!
