I am a professional Hebrew teacher certified by the Hebrew University, with 16 years of experience. I have extensive experience in different teaching formats including large group, small group, one-to-one, and online teaching. I teach various levels – beginners to advanced as well as Biblical Hebrew. I am also a visual artist, my art has been exhibited internationally at renowned venues in various group exhibitions as well as solo shows in Israel and beyond.
Me as a Teacher
I am a patient and relaxed teacher. I do my best to make my lessons enjoyable. I have an ability to make my students feel comfortable in my presence, and I can explain complicated things in a simple way. When I have curious students, I enjoy expanding and going deeper into the origin of words and connections with other languages.
My lessons & teaching style
I like planning my lessons and having a structure for each lesson. At the same time I flow with whatever comes up and with the student's interest, so I find the right balance between structure and spontanity. I use the book Hebrew from Scratch for levels Alef- Bet. During the lesson I use a google doc which I share with the student, who can also edit it during and after the lesson. We will work on four skills: speaking, listening comprehension, reading and writing, while focusing more on the student's specific needs.
