Hello! I’m Nadia, a certified native English tutor from New York City with 12+ years of global teaching experience. I hold a Master’s in Education from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor (law degree) from Fordham University. I specialize in English fluency, conversation skills, and academic writing. I’ve scored in the top percentiles on the GRE (98th reading/writing) and passed the NY Bar Exam on my first try. I’m passionate about helping learners speak clearly, write effectively, and gain confidence in English. I’m a licensed teacher with 12+ years of experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds. I’ve taught in international schools in South Korea, U.S. high schools, and as a private tutor. I help students improve English fluency, reading comprehension, and academic writing. While earning my Master’s at Harvard, I taught in American classrooms. I’ve also coached students in writing and English language skills in New York City and volunteered as an English instructor for North Korean refugees in South Korea. 영어 문장에서 관사를 구별하는 게 어려웠는데 선생님께서 잘 설명해주셨습니다. 수업 내에서 다양한 활동을 할 수 있어서 좋았어요! 특히 저는 추후에 토플이나 다른 시험을 위해 말하기/쓰기 부분을 집중적으로 배우고 싶었는데 저의 상황에 맞게 자료를 준비해주셔서 큰 도움이 될 것 같습니다.
