I have worked with Denisse for over 6 months. I believe she is the best spanish teacher I have had. For context, I am in my 40s and a professor/clinician in healthcare. I have taken spanish classes for about two years--both immersive in Mexico for a year and through iTalki. I feel I have learned the most with Denisse, and with her help, I have gone from no Spanish, to being able to spend a month in a Bolivia speaking only Spanish with my in-laws. Denisse is not only incredibly prepared every session, but she is also able to meet me where I am on any given day. Her creativitiy in lessons is amazing, and she always strikes the perfect balance of making you feel comfortable and pushing you to go past what you think you could do. She is flexible, supportive, smart, and genuinely a kind person. As an educator myself, I can appreciate good teaching methods, and I feel like I learn something from her approach every session. Highly recommend trying a session if you are looking.

Denisse as a Spanish teacher is really the best fit you can imagine. Her English ist excellent and this helps me as a German native to get along quicker thinking from English to Spanish. The lessons are very refreshing and you'll not get bored. Sometimes also challenging, if you have not learned your vocabulary. But Denise has the ability to raise the bar slowly to thrive your progress.

Had a great lesson with Denise continuing to work on object pronouns! We also covered the use of and differences in I must, I would, I should, and I could. Denise is able to break down somewhat confusing topics into ways I can easily understand and implement!

I have completed approximately 70 hours of class with Denisse and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Since day one, my expectations have been consistently exceeded. My comprehension skills, both verbal and written, have greatly improved. I feel that the classes are absolutely crucial for getting the necessary conversational practice in Spanish. Every session is formative and enriching. She maintains constant focus and engagement, and she is able to hold interesting conversations on an unlimited number of topics, which makes learning very dynamic. The teacher strongly considers my learning goals and desires, adapting the content to my needs. She is always positive, patient, and in great spirits. Her enthusiasm is contagious and makes every lesson a pleasure. And she possesses an almost "supernatural" ability to decipher the meaning of incomplete or faulty sentences. This reduces frustration and encourages you to keep speaking without fear of making mistakes. A perfect choice!!

Today's lesson was an absolutely amazing experience! It was only my first class with her, but honestly, I thank God I found her now (before her classes get fully booked😝) Honestly, her beautiful tone and voice and clear pronunciation felt like a total cleanse for my ears that had been completely ruined by Bad Bunny! 😂 Also her teaching space was well-organized, and the little chalkboard with her name on it was adorable! I can see she pays attention to every little detail for her classes I haven't taken many conversational classes before, but she had very supportive approaches really gave me the confidence to keep speaking I really appreciated how she tailored her vocabulary and used simple expressions to match my level Along with her expressive gestures and reactions, she made it SUPER easy for me to follow the flow of the conversation without getting lost I'm already looking forward to our next lessons and I'm sure that they will never get old!

Denisse has really helped to start building my confidence when speaking. She is very patient and always remembers what was covered in previous sessions in order to revise and build on that knowledge. I'm looking forward to learning more with her 😊
