Hi!
I'm Eni Tamang, a native Nepali speaker. I have a solid foundation in Nepali, both academically and non-academically. Even though I graduated with an M.A. and a 1-year diploma in Education majoring in English, I'm still learning English, focusing on speaking skills by interacting globally since 2021. I help English learners as a volunteer online tutor. Besides, I'm also fluent in Hindi/Urdu. I have experience teaching English in Nepal for more than 10 years. Since I worked in a government school for 4 years in rural hills, I had to use the Nepali language to help students learn English because they were poor in English. Hence, Nepali always came first in my teaching-learning journey.Me as a Teacher
Teaching has been my profession since I began building my career. With over 10 years of offline experience and two years of online, I've grown in my role. While learning a language is often considered challenging, I believe it can be enjoyable with the right teacher, making the process much easier. I assure you that I can help you learn Nepali in a simple and fun way.
Being a learner myself, I understand the importance of pronouncing words correctly and being easily understood. It's common to feel embarrassed when making mistakes, but I encourage you to stay motivated and continue learning the language. Definitely, one teaching method might not work for all learners. So, I gear towards the students' demands. Whether they want to have a conversation with me or a formal lesson, it's up to them. So, my teaching strategy is flexible.
I focus on student-centered teaching methods because, technically, it's the best-proven method for fast student learning. I believe that learning should be fun, and hence, I can use diverse materials like songs, stories, TV series, pictures, flashcards, and quizzes according to the situation. I have been learning with Eni DiDii for over a year now. I started with her conversation classes to help me learn a few phrases for a trip to Nepal. I enjoyed the lessons so much that i have continued them after i got back and i am now taking the reading and writing class. Eni is very supportive and we always have a laugh too. Didi is an amazing teacher she is always welcoming and polite, she understands that I am a slow learner and because of my dyslexia it can take me longer to learn concepts.
she is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile for me and is happy with whatever progress I can make, and is always willing to work around my busy schedule as a pharmacist.
we have the best conversations during class and she has become one of my closest friends. I have been working with didi for 4 months now and can speak about my generic day at conversational level in Nepali. I have even impressed some of my Nepali colleagues in the hospital!!

Eni is an absolutely fantastic teacher. She is extremely patient and supportive. She completely adapts her teaching to suit how I learn and what I want to learn about. I have really enjoyed all my lessons with her. I have gone from knowing absolutely no Nepali to feeling confident to try speaking to people in Nepal when I visit. I 100% would recommend Eni to anyone wanting to learn Nepali.

Teacher's English is very fluent and authentic but also understandable to learners. And she is very cheerful and kind ,her encouragements are natural and she is very good at guiding students to quickly get into the best state of English expression. I was nervous and afraid to express myself at the beginning, but after several times I even took the initiative to have long conversations and then even forgot the time.I really recommend her.
