Hi my name is Mary.
My aim is to help others love Irish the way I do!
I have a degree in Irish and English and am currently in my last year of Masters degree in Education to become a post-primary school teacher.Me as a Teacher
My main goal is to make students feel comfortable to challenge themselves but to also make mistakes! I have lots of experience teaching in schools, summer camps and one-to-one classes with students of different levels. I am currently teaching in a post-primary school.My lessons & teaching style
I try to incorporate as many different types of learning activities into all my lessons, as everyone learns differently! I understand how hard it can be learning new languages or even brushing up on what you already know. My aim is to give students a space to ask questions and request whatever help they need to learn. In between classes I usually set homework for all of my students. The type of work is based on the students needs, and I am always one text away if help is needed.My teaching material

Wonderful conversation practice with Mary, as always!! Always very enjoyable, and I always learn a lot. My Irish has improved a lot since I have been practicing with her, and it's such a fun way to practice.

Really great conversation practice with Mary, as always! I always enjoy the lessons with her and we always discuss such interesting topics. It helps to improve my Irish immensely, and I also learn a lot about Ireland. I'm so grateful to have found her and that I've been practicing with her for a long time now.
