Bonjour! I’m Mathilde, a French native speaker and a language addict with a deep passion for helping others unlock the beauty of French.✨ Over the past three years, I’ve had the joy of guiding friends and learners in mastering French, English, and even Mandarin—sharing not just grammar rules but the cultural nuances that make languages come alive. My own journey as a self-taught learner (Mandarin, Japanese, and now Korean!) has given me firsthand insight into the challenges students face—from tricky pronunciation to staying motivated. I am very patient and encouraging and I love listening to other people's experiences. I want to present my students with new ways to organize their language learning with accessible and varied resources which will make learning French feel like a game!My lessons & teaching style
I belive conversation and speaking practice is one of the most important aspects of language learning while being also one of the most challenging skill to master and practice. My classes will be oriented on topics in which the student has a keen interest in to help them build strong active and passive vocabulary. By doing so, students will quickly be able to engage in more complex discussions and consume native-level media of their choice!My teaching material

Mathilde is such a lovely teacher! From the minute that I joined the call, I felt at ease and in a comfortable environment to try and talk in French without fear of making mistakes. She prepared for the trial lesson beforehand by reading my profile and asked me questions about topics that I'm interested in, and how I would like the lessons to work. I really enjoyed it, would definitely recommend!
