Hi everyone!
My name is Kristina, I am a 33 year old native Norwegian and I grew up in Norway, in Oslo. Norwegian is one of my native languages, the other two being English and Russian. I also speak German and French fluently,
In the past years I have been tutoring students in English, German and French. Since I have been working in an international pharmaceutical company for 7 years, I can easily adapt to different cultures and personalities.
In my spare time I enjoy reading books, watching series, leaning Mandarin Chinese and spending time outside in the nature. I also really like different kind of sports, especially ice skating and cross country skiing.Me as a Teacher

I know how challenging it might be to start learning a new language, so here on italki I would like to help you as much as I can with your progress in Norwegian and also to keep your motivation up. During the first lesson I will be able to evaluate your Norwegian proficiency and understand your goals and expectations. Then we move on with learning whatever is important to you at that moment, anything from reading texts and grammar training to conversational practice and pronunciation. The important thing for me is that you’re enjoying the lessons with me and that you feel at ease when practicing Norwegian.My lessons & teaching style
Having lived for the most part of my childhood in Oslo, I speak "bokmål", which is the dialect spoken in Oslo-region and it is very easy to understand. During our conversations we can talk about anything you like, from music, movies and sports to nature, Norwegian culture and traditions.
In any case I will adapt the lessons to your level and make sure you feel comfortable and progress steadily.
Even though it will be best to focus on speaking Norwegian during the lessons, I also speak English, German, French and Russian fluently, so I will be able to give you detailed explanations of more complex nature to you in these languages if needed.My teaching material

Au top, beaucoup de plaisir à suivre ses cours, elle sait de quoi elle parle et trouve toujours plusieurs façons d'expliquer quand on ne comprend pas bien le sens de la phrases, vocabulaire, ou quel que soit le soucis de compréhension.
Explique de manière ludique et claire par écrit, ou exemples vocaux, de manière décontractée, et s'adapte facilement et très bien dans les plusieurs langues.

Kristina is a really great teacher! She listens, is patient, and has a lot of knowledge. She has a clear idea of what we can do during the lesson, and thinks about what areas I need help with specifically.
It helps also that she speaks a lot of languages, so she can tell me what a Norwegian word means in English and German, making it easier for me to remember.

I had a wonderful trial lesson with Kristina. She is very patient, understanding, and skilled at explaining concepts clearly. Despite my beginner level, she made me feel comfortable and encouraged throughout the lesson. Kristina was able to assess my level very quickly and showed me the areas I could improve upon. She provided useful tips and resources to help me practice outside of our lessons. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Norwegian!
