Hello! My name is Marie and I am very happy to help you learn my mother tongue - Czech.

I studied Translation and Interpreting to Czech and I also have a pedagogical training which means I can teach at high schools in the Czech Republic. Nonetheless, I prefer individual classes where I can adjust the content of the lesson for each student. I create safe environment for my students where they can ask, make mistakes and grow. My lessons & teaching style
I focus only on conversations. My classes are ideal for those who already have some basic knowledge of Czech. My classes are full of speaking games, quizes, riddles and I can promise you you will never ever get bored! Unless many other teachers, I carefully plan my lessons and this systematic approach will help you to become more confident faster.My teaching material

Marie has this skill that she can speak at a pace that is just perfect for my level of Czech. If I don't get something, she can explain it in simple Czech so I can understand that without switching to English. So she basically let me believe that I can understand anything. (And that's huge as I'm at ~A2.) :)

Marie is a kind and patient teacher. She speaks Czech very clearly so it's easy to understand her. She can also explain everything using Czech so it feels like I speak Czech well - and I'm only at A2. Really encouraging!

I cannot speak highly enough of Marie! Speaking in a foreign language can be such a stressful experience but Marie manages to take all of that stress away. Such a pleasure to chat with Marie.
