I am Noam, I'm 35 and I live in Givatayim (which is a city next to Tel-Aviv, in Israel).
Despite all the headlines that my country is constantly creating in the news, I love it here because of the day-to-day life: The people, the weather, the food, my family, my friends, my cat.
When I'm not teaching Hebrew, I love to write poetry, sing along with my guitar, or explore the many coffee shops around. I am also an active poet and published 5 poetry books, and love organizing events that combine different arts and talented people.Me as a Teacher
I am a full-time professional Hebrew teacher and have worked with hundreds of students in various environments. I enjoy helping my students improve their Hebrew vocabulary, grammar skills, and, most importantly, their confidence in speaking and using the language.
My goal is to help my students use the language freely, and to love the process of learning!
My life philosophy translates to my teaching philosophy: go, do, speak, make mistakes, and that’s how you learn. I think the main challege of learning a new language is accepting that it might not be as quick or as easy as you hope. The goal is to enjoy the process of learning and fit if to your strengths.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style depends on the level of the student. If it is the very beginning, I teach "by the book" - slowly and with grammatical order and logic. But as your level goes up, I don't like to stick to a certain plan, but start with a fluent conversation and work on the "missing parts" of the language along the way.
I always ask my students for their level, previous knowledge, goals and interests, and then create a lesson plan that fits it as much as I can.My teaching material
