Advanced Korean through stories, news, and real social issues! Hi! I’m Yeji, a native Korean speaker with a background in political science and economic policy. I’ve always loved learning languages — they open a window into how people think, feel, and express their culture. Through songs, books, and everyday discussions, we can explore not just the language but the stories and challenges unique to Korean society. If you’re someone who loves discovering culture, history, and social issues through language, I think we’ll get along really well! 5+ years of teaching experience across all ages! I keep my classes light, flexible, and full of cultural exchange — you’ll learn Korean, and I’ll get to learn a bit about you too :) Module A: Modern Korea in the News Explore what’s happening in Korea today through short news clips and articles. Learn real expressions, key vocabulary, and discuss what they reveal about Korean society. Module B: Stories that Shape Korea [Upcoming!] Read short stories or poems that reflect Korea’s past and present. We’ll unpack themes, language, and how culture shows through storytelling. Module C: Talk & Think in Korean [Upcoming!] Discuss topics like work culture, gender, or digital life. Practice expressing opinions naturally while learning tone and nuance.
