Ciao! I'm Maria Chiara, nice to meet you :)
☀️ I'm a cheerful girl, full of energy, who works as a videomaker and has a cinema and literature background.
📕 I'm very passionate about language learning. I learned Spanish by "living" it and watching content I liked in that language, just as I am doing with French now, and I enjoy teaching my native language, Italian, following a more fun, free, and challenging approach.
🎭 I love creativity in all its forms: making videos, taking photos, writing, admiring art, getting to know artisans... Anything that is deeply human fascinates me.

I'm very friendly and approachable. I enjoy getting to know my students better and talking about things they also like. I always try to put my students at ease to encourage them to talk as much as possible, even making mistakes, which I correct at the end of the speech in order not to interrupt them and not to confuse them while speaking. I always take note of everything so that we don't lose track of what we do, the mistakes we have to correct, and the things we have to improve. I want studying with me to be enjoyable and for the time we spend together to be constructive both in terms of learning and personal enrichment. I'm very witty, so there will be plenty of laughs!My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are based on conversation: starting from a theme established with the student or from content provided by me (movie clips, songs, videos, articles), we generate a dialogue during which I am attentive to take note of the student's sentences and key words that come up while speaking. Throughout the conversation, I find moments to pause with the student to explain the mistakes they have made or important words we have identified. At the end of the lesson, I send the student a document on Google Drive summarizing everything we did during our time together, as well as recommendations for audiovisual content they can consume to improve their understanding and speaking of the language.My teaching material
