As an internationally certified Chinese instructor (MA in Literature), I weave Tang and Song poetry’s rhythm into engaging Mandarin lessons. With 10 years of experience, my unique methods blend culture with language: learn prepositions via Forbidden City tales, measure words through hot pot, and pronunciation with dialect rhymes.
I offer customized HSK 1-6 prep and immersive cultural experiences—from ancient cities to daily traditions. Every Chinese character is a living treasure with 3,000 years of heritage.

Wei Qiao is an excellent teacher, and her lesson was interesting and enjoyable. During the lesson she introduced me to varied aspects of Chinese ancient history, and vocabulary germane to that time period, Furthermore, I watched short videos on the time period in question as well. I look forward to continuing my studies with her in the near future. I highly recommend!!

Qiao-Wei is very knowledgable on how to teach Mandarin Chinese. Her lessons are laid out in a very non-intimadating format that makes you feel comfortable practicing speaking. She is very thorough in her teaching and understanding in where you are in your learning journey. Highly recommend!
