Hello! Mabuhay! My name is Vanessa from the Philippines. Filipino (Tagalog) is my native language. I was born and raise where Filipino or Tagalog is spoken. I can speak and teach Cebuano too. I worked as a pharmacy assistant for 4 years. But my passion as a teacher is still in my heart. So even though I'm working, I still managed to teach kids and adults offline using Filipino and Cebuano language. To pursue my passion as an ESL teacher, I took up an online training school and received a TEFL certificate. It means that I am qualified to teach English, Tagalog, and Cebuano. I am very passionate about what I do. For my other hobbies, I love listening to music, and I am a pet lover. I am approachable, and patient teacher. I do make sure that every class is fun and meaningful. I take a student-centered approach. I make sure that my students never get bored to learn English, Tagalog and Cebuano. I can be silly, comical and fun in class when the situation calls for it. For adults students, I am like a friend helping you achieve your learning goals. I share practical tips and advice to keep you motivated as you improve your English, Tagalog and Cebuano proficiency.
