Leisha is a very responsible teacher. She taught me a lot of expressions in a both memorable and enjoyable way. For example, I still remember the phrase “get under one’s skin”, which means to annoy someone. She explained it by imagining a bug crawling under your skin. Another expression was “going places”, which means someone is likely to become successful. She told me to imagine a successful businessperson flying around the world. These vivid examples made new expressions much easier to remember and made learning English much more fun. She often shares words that she personally likes, which inspired me to become more interested in vocabulary and expressions. I think her passion really influenced me. Leisha is also very direct when correcting mistakes. She points out problems clearly, which helped me remember my mistakes and improve a lot. If you’re looking for an IELTS teacher who genuinely cares about her students, I highly recommend Leisha’s lessons!
