My background is in medical speech pathology (SLP) and I have owned my own accent training business for almost 20 years helping fluent, non-native speakers of English with polishing pronunication, accent and speech clarity to improve speaking confidence as professionals using English daily at work. I LOVE accents, and advocate for loving and keeping your accent! Just a few simple changes to polish the accent will often improve clarity and reduce the need to repeat what you say. With accent training, the listening skills also improve and this helps listeners understand other accents different than their own, including the accents of native speakers of English. 30 year background as an SLP teaching and improving communication with adults who have had medical-related voice disorders, stroke rehab, etc. Almost 20 years as an accent training coach, working with non-native English speaking people from all first language backgrounds. I have received awards and 5-Star/100% Satisfaction ratings from students all over the world.
