British Teacher with over 5years experience **UPDATE from 8 October 2026 I will be switching to Part Time so my calendar will change** I'm Richard, I'm originally from Northern Ireland but currently live in Mexico. I used to work in Administration but in 2020 I changed my career to teaching. I'm interested in travel so I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and learning about their countries and cultures. Since I live in Mexico I have been learning Spanish so I understand the difficulties that students face with a new language. I have 5 years experience teaching English online. I work with Students all around the world with different levels. I understand the importance of encouraging students to speak, correcting their mistakes and focusing on recurring mistakes. IMPORTANT - RESCHEDULING / CANCELLING CLASSES If students want to cancel or reschedule classes this MUST BE done 24 hours before the class starts. Please do this via the italki booking system. AFTER 24 hours it is not possible and you will be charged for the class. I provide packages for A1, A2, and B1 learners with a range of course material that we will study together. I aim to provide a casual atmosphere for learning and I have several other packages. I offer conversation practice with corrections and suggestions for better ways to say things. I can also help you practice for interviews or we can read an article and discuss it together. Please choose your class carefully as prices and styles vary.

I’ve taken 15 classes with Richard, he’s very patient and great to talk to. Thanks to his help, I recently prepared for a job interview and got the job.
