My name is Camille, I'm French, and like everyone else, I love to travel! So I'll be delighted to learn more about your culture, as well as telling you more about mine during our language classes 😉

I used to be a lawyer specializing in environmental and urban planning law. Then I did some wwoofing, and worked in an organic grocery store while I went back to school at the Alliance Française, from which I graduated in September 2021 🙃Me as a Teacher

2️⃣ How the classes work
🦜 As many immersive conversations as possible. Of course, this will become easier and more feasible as you progress.
📌 Studying grammar and technical lessons only to reinforce your daily expression needs, that is to say :
* As much as necessary : if you need an entire course of grammatical explanations, we'll take that time ;
* But only what's necessary : when everything is clear, we'll return to our language immersion sessions, so that you can put your just-learned grammar into practice.

DAEFLE - Alliance Française Paris Ile-de-France - 2021I took the DAEFLE curriculum that taught me on creating a French language course and assessment process (unlike DELF and DALF that are about talking the language). The major was, thus, teaching FLE (Français Langue Etrangère = French as a Foreign Language), and the minor was FOS (Français sur Objectifs Spécifiques = French on Specific Goals), which is oriented on teaching French for professional needs.

Camille is an incredible French teacher with a very organized approach and a genuine care for her students' well-being. She introduces vocabulary in creative ways that help me easily grasp pronunciation patterns. This approach not only helps me pronounce the words we cover in class but also equips me with the tools to predict the pronunciation of new words outside of class, making it far more effective than simply memorizing vocabulary. Camille is also patient, supportive, funny, and accommodating with her schedule. I never feel pressured or bad about making mistakes because I know she’ll help me learn from them. I'm so happy I found her on this site and always look forward to our classes. My first lesson with Camille was very good. She is very organized and interested in how I learn and is flexible to customize my lesson plan.
We jumped right into pronunciation and has a color code systems that really helps. She is funny and makes the time fly by. She summarizes our lesson on google docs and send me homework for our next lesson.
