Hello, my name is Mackay, and I am a passionate and experienced Business English instructor dedicated to helping professionals achieve their career goals.
With a strong focus on job interview preparation, CV crafting, and LinkedIn profile optimization, I provide tailored lessons that bridge the gap between language skills and real-world business demands.
My teaching approach is rooted in practicality, ensuring that my students gain the confidence and fluency needed to excel in competitive professional environments. Originally from Great Britain, I now reside in Italy, where I continue to immerse myself in diverse cultures and languages.Me as a Teacher
I am an expert in Job Interview Preparation, CV & LinkedIn Optimization, Salary & Benefits Negotiation, Public Speaking Techniques for Meetings & Presentations, Conversational English & ‘Small Talk’ and Editing, Revising & Proofreading.
I work mostly with Intermediate and Advanced level adults 18+ (B1.4 to C2). My clients are typically junior to C-suite business professionals who often work and travel internationally, as well as students completing Bachelor and Masters degrees who are applying for positions in highly competitive careers.
I am very effective in increasing confidence and fluency in English communication. I have proven success in clients securing interviews and job offers.My lessons & teaching style

In our first lesson I will take time and care to work with you to create a learning plan with clear milestones that meet your learning goals.
I find that using source material and scenarios as relevant and authentic as possible to you is the most effective way to develop relaxed, confident, fluent Business English communication.
