Hello :D I'm Hailey, Korean teacher who has an official Korean teacher's license. I'm currently living in NYC and working as a full-time teacher.
Have you ever experienced learning languages but noticed that you are unable to use them in the daily life conversation? My goal of teaching is not to teach "Book-style" expressions, but to teach "Real-life" expressions! I’ve been teaching Korean for 10 years and have been focusing on Online classes for 4 years. 1. For the very beginner – We need to master "Hangeul" which is Korean alphabet. You can finish learning Hangeul in about 5 classes (2 weeks).
2. Beginner (A1-A2) - Usually consistent students (2 times a week) get to A2 level when they finish 20 classes with me. Which is about 3 months. This level, you can speak present/past/future tense naturally and we can communicate with easy expressions.
3. Intermediate (B1-B2): Now it's time to focus on Sino-Korean words. We will try to expand our expressions - use different speaking grammars that have the same meaning and get the intention of speaking. You will be trained to distinguish which expressions are more appropriate by the situation.My lessons & teaching style

I've been teaching Korean online for 4 years and know the most efficient way to study on the small screen of a computer. I don't prefer lecture-style classes. We need to use limited time to communicate as much as we can, make diverse setences with making mistakes, chit-chat about many differnet issues happening in Korea! Also I love giving a task in the class, so that we can check what is your weakness and strength. I will share all of my class materials. (Book, Vocab list, Mp3 files...) For some of advanced classes, I offer Google doc to track and review your class. Beside, I always send screenshots after the class.My teaching material
