Experienced Georgian Teacher for All Levels - Helping You Speak Georgian with Confidence Hello! I’m Salome, a Georgian language tutor with a deep love for sharing my culture and language. Holding degrees in English Literature and years of teaching experience—from the British Council to university classrooms—I specialise in helping learners master Georgian from scratch or refine their fluency. Whether you’re preparing for travel, work, or personal growth, my lessons blend practical language skills with insights into Georgia’s rich history and traditions. Let’s make learning vibrant and meaningful! My approach to teaching is simple: I strive to make lessons clear, practical, and focused on what the student actually needs. My lessons are based on the student’s level and goals. Before starting, I usually assess what the student already knows and what they want to improve. Then I plan the lessons around their needs. I try to keep my lessons simple, organised, and focused. I use materials that feel authentic and practical, including short texts, conversations, exercises, and examples from everyday life. If you can’t find a convenient time slot, feel free to text me.

Georgian isn't just a challenge for the student, it's a challenge for the teacher too. Salome masters this challenge with flying colors. I've been taking around 10 Georgian lessons with her and I would warmly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn this mysterious language!

After being introduced to some past and future tense verbs in recent lessons, we moved on to learning additional verbs (for the future tense) as well as the imperfect tense today. What initially seemed overwhelming became much easier after a series of excellent exercises that provided the opportunity to practice using the imperfect tense. Best Georgian teacher ever!

I really appreciate Salome's attention towards revising and practicing previously revised lessons to ensure that the knowledge is not only maintained but also practice. Further, she's great at gradually introducing new vocabulary and concepts. Thank you again for another wonderful lesson!

Today we reviewed previously learned movement verbs as a bridge into learning the past and future versions of them. They are challenging, but Salome is wonderful at explaining the logic behind Georgian verbs.

Salome is such a sweet and wonderful teacher. She was very patient as we read through a text today and took the time to explain new words to me.
