Hi everyone, my name is Jarred, and I teach Ancient Greek online using a communicative (direct) approach focused on reading fluency. Instead of relying solely on translation and memorization, my lessons help students use and and understand Ancient Greek through guided reading, writing, listening, and speaking practice, so that you can read the original authors in their own words naturally and enjoyably over time. I have several years of experience teaching Ancient Greek to adult learners online, and I am deeply passionate about the language itself and about helping students reach the point where they can confidently read the authors they desire to read, such as Plato, Plutarch, or the New I am a patient and attentive teacher who cares deeply about my students’ progress and understanding of Ancient Greek.
