My name is Erica and I'm from Philadelphia, PA, USA but I currently live in Tokyo, Japan. I am a full-time English instructor in Japan where I teach one-on-one English lessons. As I was born and raised in the United States, I'm a native speaker of English with a neutral accent.
I love cats and I have 3 cats of my own. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, cooking, watching YouTube and TikTok videos, and more.Me as a Teacher

I have been teaching English in Japan for almost 2 years, and I have taught thousands of students. I have a laid back yet professional approach to teaching, and my goal is to make you feel comfortable while reaching your goals in a timely manner. I love teaching idioms and nuanced language, and I'm very skilled at explaining vocabulary in grammar using easy-to-understand methods.My lessons & teaching style
I pride myself on using a relaxed yet professional teaching style where anyone can feel comfortable communicating. During our first lesson I will assess your current level and make recommendations based on your goals. I can teach casual, everyday English as well as business English, and I speak with a clear American accent. I have experience teaching TOEIC and IELTS material as well.
